After ongoing wear and deterioration began impacting the performance of the existing roofing system, this Central Bark facility in
Sussex required a full roof layover to restore long-term protection. Our team at Modern Exterior carefully removed all existing rooftop components down to the EPDM membrane, then sealed the current layer to create a stable foundation for the new system.
We installed a 1/2" high-density ISO coverboard to improve durability and insulation, followed by a new 50 mil PVC roofing membrane designed for superior weather resistance and longevity. The project also included reusing the existing metal coping to maintain structural integrity while optimizing cost efficiency.
This commercial roof upgrade significantly improved the building’s protection against the elements while extending the life of the roofing system, delivering a clean, durable, and low-maintenance solution built to perform in Wisconsin’s demanding climate.
