This large-scale commercial roofing project in
Milwaukee required a comprehensive approach to protect a complex building with both steep-slope and flat roofing systems. Our team at Modern Exterior removed the existing shingles and installed new IKO Dynasty architectural shingles across the building’s extensive steep-slope roof areas.
The project also included replacement of 14 skylights, new chimney and wall flashing where necessary, and the construction of two new chimney saddles to improve water drainage around these critical roof areas. Existing snow guards were carefully removed and reinstalled, with all brackets properly sealed as part of the new roofing system.
In addition to the shingle roof replacement, our commercial roofing team completed seven flat roof sections and installed counter flashing above termination bars to create a properly integrated roofing system across the property.
With its multiple roof elevations, steep slopes, flat roof sections, chimneys, skylights, and extensive flashing details, this project demonstrates Modern Exterior’s ability to manage complex, large-scale commercial roof replacements while delivering durable protection built for Wisconsin weather.
